2024 SPRING PERFORMANCE INFORMATION

Our Spring Performance offers students the opportunity to showcase their hard work, dedication, and progress to families and friends, as well as reinforce dance as a performance art.

PERFORMANCES:

Saturday, May 18, 2024
McAlister Auditorium - Furman University
3300 Poinsett Hwy, Greenville, SC 29613
TIMES: 6 pm or 8 pm
Each class will participate in one show.

AEDC will NOT have regular classes May 13 - 17 in preparation for the Spring performance.
Dress rehearsal and performance will be the dancers final “classes”.

Dress Rehearsal - Tuesday May 14, 2024
Dancer Drop off/Pick up times:

All dancers must attend dress rehearsal at McAlister Auditorium, Furman University, 3300 Poinsett Hwy, Greenville, SC 29613

Dancer Drop off is located at the back of the auditorium at the backstage door/loading dock area.

All Preschool level classes: Drop Off 3:30 - Pick Up 5:00pm
All Combo level Classes: Drop off 3:30 - Pick Up 5:00pm
All Company Members and all dancers in Company Ballet Production: Drop Off 4:30 - Until the end
Beginner, Advanced Beginner: Drop Off 5:15 - Pick Up 7:15pm
Intermediate, Teen Beginner, Advanced levels: Drop Off 5:15 - Pick Up 9:00pm

Dancer pick up: Preschool, Combo, Beginner and Advanced Beginner level dancers will receive pick up passes for 1 parent to collect them from their dressing room. Please carefully read your Recital Information Email regarding procedure.
All others will be released when their rehearsal is over.

Spring Performance - Saturday, May 18, 2024

Show Time 6pm - Drop off time 5:30 pm

Show Time 8pm - Drop off time 7:30 pm

Spring Performance Fees:

November 1st - $85.00 - Spring Performance Participation Fee – per family
* This non-refundable fee secures your child’s spot in the performance.
* Each family will receive 2 tickets to the performance and a link to download the professional Spring Performance Video.
* Additional tickets available for $10.00 + ticket fees when you select your 2 tickets.
* Tickets are selected/sold ONLINE ONLY on a first come/first serve basis starting early May
** Once your Participation fee has been paid and costumes have been ordered, you are responsible for all the full costume fee.
December 1st - Costume Deposit = 1/2 of all family costume fees due. Amount varies based on number of classes a dancer(s) take.
*You must purchase a costume for each class your child takes. Costume Fees are broken into two installments
Total Costume prices are based on class level as follows:
Preschool and Combo Classes: $78.00/per class (1/2 is $39.00 per installment)
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Level Classes: $95.00/per class (1/2 is $47.50 per installment)
January 1st - Costume Balance = remaining 1/2 of all family costume fees due. Amount varies based on number of classes a dancer(s) take.

Costumes:

*Costumes are ordered over Thanksgiving. Your child’s costumes will not be ordered if your account is not paid in full to date.

Pictures of your dancers costumes will be posted on your Parent Portal in the “Costume” Section that will appear mid December.
That is where you will also find details of the shoes and tights required for each dance.
*AEDC does not guarrantee a costume for any dancer whose costume is ordered late due to late payment or late enrollment.
*Though we measure each child to ensure the best fitting costume possible, costumes are sized in a range. Any alterations you feel necessary for your child’s costumes will be your responsibility.
AEDC supplies dancers with a costume. Parents are responsible to ensure dancers have the correct tights and shoes for the performance.

AEDC PICTURE WEEK AND COSTUME INFORMATION

Pictures will be taken at ARTISTIC EDGE DANCE CENTER by Mitchell’s Photography

Recreational dancers may wear their hair and makeup as they chose for pictures. Please arrive ready in your first costume. Dressing rooms will be reserved for dancers with multiple classes.

Company Dancers must have Company hair and toned down company stage makeup for all pictures
